صدق القصيمي عندما قال :
“إن الثوار لا يمكن أن يصنعوا الحرية، إنهم أبداً خصومها. ولكن الحرية تحفر طريقها بلا تشريع بلا ثورة كما يحفر النهر مجراه، بمواصلة السير في جوف الصخور والتراب، بمقاومته للطبيعة.
إن الحرية لا توجد بالإرادة، أو الخطة، أو لأمر.
إن الحرية توجد بالتعامل مع الأشياء الصعبة، والمتناقضة والمضادة.
إن الحرية هي التعود على السير في طريق مسدودٍ بالمتناقضات والأحزان.
إننا نتعلم الحرية كما يتعلم الأعمى السير بين حقول المهالك مبصراً بعصاه.”
