ألقى الزعيم السياسي العراقي مقتدى الصدر على تويتر يوم السبت لومه على زواج المثليين لتسببه في جائحة الفيروس التاجي، وقال في التغريدة: "أحد أكثر الأشياء المروّعة التي تسببت في هذا الوباء هو تقنين زواج المثليين، لذا أدعو جميع الحكومات التي سمحت بذلك إلى إلغاء هذا القانون على الفور ودون تردد."
