Tomorrow, August 26th, is Women's Equality Day in the USA
Women's Equality Day celebrates the date when women were given the right to vote through the 19th Amendment to the Constitution in 1920. Whih was followed by the right of representation in the Parliament, High posts, Judiciary, …etc. It was designated an official observational day in 1973 to mark the continuing fight for #GenderEquality.
In this occasion, Georgia #WomenJudges visited Milwaukee to learn about the US judiciary, particularly how women support each other in the legal profession, to observe courts and to learn about how the law affects the lives of #women and how it has advanced or hindered #equality. Wisconsin Law Journal
The delegation also visited IAWJ and National Association of Women Judges.
