منذ تعيينها، اعتلت ستة قاضيات منصة المحكمة العليا منذ انشائها عام 1950، وتعد بيفي أول قاضية أمرأة في قارة أسيا، كما أنها اول أمرأة مـ///ــلمة تتقلد منصبا قضائيا بالمحاكم العليا بالهند :)
Since Beevi’s appointment, only six women –including her- judges her have been appointed to India’s Supreme Court in 68 years since it was established in 1950. The first Supreme Court woman judge in any country in Asia. That wasn’t all, she was also the first Muslim woman judge to be appointed to any position in the higher judiciary in India.
