“The mask mandate is an attack on my freedom!” exclaimed a Trump groupie. “I didn’t immigrate to this country to be told what to do by some stupid liberals,” pontificated an Egyptian-American from Los Angeles.

Have I got news for you Mr “Patrick Henry” of the Nile: The government forces you to stop at red traffic lights. How about that for “telling you what to do”?! It also forces you to part with a chunk of your money on April 15; how about that?! It forces you to vaccinate your babies before they can say ‘mama’, let alone sign a consent form. How about that for an infringement on their sacred freedoms?! The government forces you to have a driver’s license and insurance; how about that for an encroachment on your liberties?! I could go on to list a hundred other ways in which the government restricts your freedom, but I won’t. Because if you didn’t get the point by now you never will.

If all of that is ok with you, (and didn’t keep you from immigrating to “this country”,) what about wearing a mask that makes you all so riled up? I’ll tell you what: because Saint Donald doesn’t wear one. [This phenomenon is called ‘imitatio dei’ in Latin. Literally it means following the example of God, but in this case it is following the cult leader.]

Now back to the Angeleno who so fervently guards his liberty. I can picture him arguing with a cop: “You are free to stop at the traffic light if you want, officer! But I did not immigrate to this country to be told what to do by some Antifa socialist BLM liberals!” Officer: “Do you know what these words mean, Sir?” Angeleno: “No, but I heard them on Fox.”
