وردت معلومات إلى قسم شرطة برزة- دمشق بوجود فتاة مُحتجزة على سطح أحد المنازل بمحلة مساكن برزة في العمالي، وبعد إرسال دورية إلى المكان المذكور وتحرّي المنزل، شوهدت غرفة مبنية على السطح مقابل باب الدرج ومُقفلة بباب حديد مع جنازير وأقفال أُخرى.
وبعد فتح الباب ودخول الغرفة، تمّ العثور ضمنها على السيدة إسراء (٣٧ سنة، خريجة كلية تربية) في حالة صحية سيئة، حيث تم حبسها لمدة ٥ سنوات بسبب انفصالها عن زوجها، حيث تزوجت مرتين وتطلقت كونها "لا تنجب أطفالاً"، وبعد عودتها لمنزل ذويها، قاموا بضربها على كافة أنحاء جسمها مستخدمين أيديهم وجنازير حديد، ثمّ تمّ تكبيلها بالجنازير ووضعها ضمن غرفة على سطح المنزل وبقيت طيلة تلك المدة مسجونة.
وبالتحقيق مع والدها المدعو، اعترف بما نُسب إليه وذلك بالاشتراك مع والدتها وأشقائها وسبب قيامهم بذلك لمنعها من الهرب من منزلهم، وقد تم تنظيم ضبط حقهم وسيتم تقديمهم للقضاء المختص.
