المنصة حقها Her Honor Setting The Bar
المستشارة القاضية / تهاني محمد الجبالي أول قاضية مصرية، اعتلت المنصة لأول مرة كـ "نائب رئيس المحكمة الدستورية العليا" مباشرة، ولم يكن قد سبق لها العمل القضائي من قبل في سابقة فريدة من نوعها لتعيين المحامين كقضاة في مصرمنذ الثمانينات من القرن الماضي.
اعتلت المنصة بموجب قرار جمهوري في 22 يناير 2003 وظلت بها حتى عام 2012 الذي تم به اجراء تعديلات دستورية.
Her Honor Judge/ Tahani Mohamed al-Jabali, the first Egyptian female judge. Her Honor sat on the bar for the first time as a "Vice President of the Supreme Constitutional Court" directly, and had not previously worked in the judiciary.
Her Honor joined the bench by presidential decree on January 22, 2003 and remained there until 2012, when constitutional amendments were made.
اشتغلت بالمحاماة لمدة 30 عاما. تولت لفترة وظيفة الشئون القانونية في جامعة طنطا، الا انها سرعان ما قدمت استقالتها وتفرغت للعمل كمحامية حرة عام 1987 لتبدأ مشوارها العملى وتبت جدارتها بتولي المسئولية التي ظلت لفترة طويلة مقصورة على الرجال. انتخبت عضوة في المكتب الدائم لاتحاد المحامين العرب، لتصبح بذلك أول سيدة مصرية وعربية تنتخب في هذا المستوي بالاتحاد منذ تأسيسه خلال 1944.
Her Honor worked as a lawyer for 30 years. She worked in the “legal affair” at Tanta University. After a short period, she resigned and decided to work as a free lawyer in 1987 to start her professional career independently and take such a responsibility that has been reserved for a long time exclusively to men. She was elected as a member of the permanent office of the Arab Lawyers Union, to become the first Egyptian and Arab woman to be elected at this level in the Union since its foundation in 1944.
عملت كخبير قانوني في منظمة الامم المتحدة ومحكم تجاري دولي، وعضو اللجنة التشريعية والسياسية في "المجلس القومي للمرأة". ولها منشورات / ابحاث عديدة في مجالات قانونية وسياسية اقتصادية.
She worked as a legal expert at the United Nations and an international commercial arbitrator, and a member of the Legislative and Political Committee of the National Council for Women. She has numerous publications / researches in legal and political economic fields.
مواليد 9 نوفمبر 1950، حصلت على المركز الخامس على مستوي الجمهورية في شهادة الثانوية العامة، ورفضت كليات القمة، وفضلت كلية الحقوق، وحصلت على اجازة الحقوق من جامعة القاهرة عام 1973.
ثم تابعت الدراسات العليا في القانون العام والدستوري والشريعة الاـ///ــلامية وحصلت على دبلوم تربية ودراسات طفولة.
Born on November 9, 1950, she won the fifth place in the high school in the Republic. She preferred studying law and obtained a law degree from Cairo University in 1973.
Afterwards, she pursued graduate studies in public and constitutional law and Islamic law and obtained a diploma in education and childhood studies.

وتابعت الجبالي، في حوارها ببرنامج تليفزيوني"أنها حزينة بشده أن المرأة لم تدخل النيابة العامة ومجلس الدولة حتى الآن، رغم أن النص الدستوري حاسم ومن حق المرأة أن تتولى رئاسة المناصب القضائية، مؤكدة أن النص الدستوري وُضع ليحترم"، وأضافت أنها طالبت الرئيس السيسي بعدم التوقيع على دُفعة جديدة لمجلس الدولة أو النيابة العامة لا تتضمن نساء.
She says, "I am proud that I am an Egyptian judge … and women's competencies have proven successful."
In her interview with a TV program, Al-Jabali said, "It is sad that women have not yet entered the public prosecution and the State Council, although the constitution is is very clear and grant women the right to hold judicial positions. stressing that the constitution shall be respected”. She added that she asked President El-Sisi not to sign any presidential decrees to appoint new judges at the State Council or Public Prosecution that does not include women judges.
جدير بالذكر أن المستشارة تهاني/القاضية سابقا هي احدي الست وستون (٦٦) قاضية اللائي تم تعيينهم بغير الطريق الطبيعي لسلوك القضاء مقارنة بأقرانهن من القضاة البالغ عددهم ستة عشر الف (١٦٠٠٠) قاض، بما يجعل نسية القاضيات المصريات هي الادني على الاطلاق حيث تبلغ 0.5% مقابل 99.5% (66 قاضية من ضمن 16000 قاض) وتم تقلدهن المنصب بغير الطريق الطبيعي لاعتلاء المنصة كأقرانهن من القضاة ! ممايعد استمرارا لمسلسل التمييز ضد كافة نساء مصر عموما وخريجات القانون خصوصا !!
Tahany was one of the only 66 Egyptian women judges who got appointed abnormally. There are 104 million people living in Egypt right now with 16000 male judges and a grand total of 66 female judges. Egyptian women judges are 0.5 % vs. 99.5% male judges !!
