ثلاثة طالبات بالجامعة البريطانية يمثلن هيئة محكمة الاستئناف لأول محكمة الكترونية صورية في مصر والوطن العربي. ????????⚖️????????⚖️????????⚖️مما يجعل هذا الحدث سباقا لا فقط في كونه الأول منه نوعه الكترونيا وتدريبيا، ولكن أيضا لتمثيله المرأة علي منصة القضاء والنظر فقط لكفائتهن وقدراتهن لا جنسهن.
Three BUE students represent an all-women bench simulation of the appellate court’s bench in the first E- moot court in Egypt. ????????⚖️????????⚖️????????⚖️This made this event a trendsetter, not only in terms of being the first E-Court/mootcourt, but also in being the first to endorse real representation of women on the bench and evaluating them based only on their abilities not gender.
قامت كلية القانون في الجامعة البريطانية بعمل أول محكمة الكترونية صورية في مصر والوطن العربي كجزء من التعليم التطبيقي الذي تقوم به الكلية لطلابها، وأخذت هذه المحكمة التدريبية مكانا بالتدريب على مدار اسبوعين انتهوا بمحاكمة صورية بحضور العديد من الشخصيات الهامة في سلك القضاء، والذين أشادوا بالحدث. والجدير بالذكر أن الكلية اهتمت بالتمثيل النسائي فكانت العديد من الأدوار من المحامين، وكتاب الجلسات والقضاة من الطالبات. والأجدر بالذكر أن الهيئة الاستئنافية كانت مكونة من ثلاث سيدات وهن داليا محمود، ومريم أبو المجد ومها الهضيبي.
The British University in Egypt held the first E-Court (E-Mootcourt) in Egypt and the Arab region as a part of the Practical learning the faculty endorses.
This E-mootcourt took place during two weeks of practice that ended with the simulation trial, in attendance of several important Egyptian Justice System Personnel, who praised the event.
It’s worthy to mention that the faculty put women’s representation as a priority in different roles from court clerks, to lawyers and Judges. Moreover, the appellate court’s bench in the simulation was an all-women bench, consisting of: Dalia Mahmoud Selim, Mariyam Abo Elmagd, and Maha Elhodaiby.
